What types of home plans do you offer?
Our home plans are varied to meet your needs. We have all square footages for you ranging from 700 square feet to 10,000+ square feet with varying elevations.
Can I customize a plan to fit my needs?
You can select a plan and have the plan modified not only by square footage but also by elevation type.
Do you offer plans for all types of budgets?
We can design you a plan with the footage which best suits your specified budget.
Are your plans approved for construction nationwide?
Our plans are drawn to follow the International Building Code and the National Energy Code.
Ordering & Purchasing Questions
How do I purchase a home plan?
If you have selected a design, give us a call. We will help you with your order.
Can I make changes after I've purchased a plan?
If you have ordered your plan, you can make changes. It is better for you to discuss the changes before your purchase.
What formats do you provide the plans in? (PDF, CAD, etc.)
We can send you a PDF of your plan or a CAD format for your plan. The PDF permit is less expensive
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Once a plan is ordered and sent to you, there is no refund for the purchase.
Construction & Technical Questions
Are your plans ready to submit to my local building department?
Every area has specific code requirements. Our plans will meet most requirements. However, if your code department
requires certain specific entities, we may be able to help you.
Can I use your plans with my own builder or contractor?
Yes, you can use the plan with your builder or contractor.
Do you provide guidance on permits or zoning requirements?
Every area has its on permit and zoning requirements. You will need to furnish those to us if you want us to be able to
help you.
How will I know if this house will fit my lot?
For our firm to know if the plan will fit your property, a survey will need to be submitted to our firm with the necessary
requirements from your code department.
How detailed are your plans? (Foundation, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Our plans include the foundation, floor plan, all four elevations, roof plan, cross-section, stair detail, and standard cabinet
details.
Do you offer structural engineering or stamped plans if required?
Our plans will include a seal from the American Institute of Building Design. If a structural engineer is necessary, we
do not provide that feature.
Pricing and Promotions
Do you offer bulk pricing if I want multiple plans?
The plan fees are figured by the square foot only.
Can I reuse a plan that I've already purchased?
Our plans are for a one-time fee. The re-use of a plan requires a repeat fee which is 1/2 of the original fee.
What is included in the cost of the plan?
The cost of the plan covers the foundation, floor plan, all four elevations, roof plan, cross-section, stair detail, and standard cabinet details.
